Me Leva Que Eu Vou - Asociación cultural

Gilberto Gil
"Me Leva Que Eu Vou” cultural association was founded in 2002, due to the needs of the brazilian people living in Argentina of promoting events and seminars related to the brazilian popular culture, very unrare activities in that time.

Before coming to BA, Antonio Lima took part of the chief team of inhabitants of Salvador de Bahia. he also participated and was leader of Samba Pelô samba musical group.

One thing to remark is that "Me Leva Que Eu Vou” president takes part of Afro forum of the Inadi, bringing on ideas to rescue the cultural memory of the afro argentinian.

Some examples of Me Leva que Eu Vou projects brought to the Inadi are: Samba reggae band Ilê Ayê´s coming in 2008, and Afro Reggae band´s coming in 2009, both brazilian bands.
